Scentsy Spring Sprint

Last Monday I took the day off from work and headed to Allentown for a day long Scentsy convention. It was fun to meet other Scentsy consultants who were just as gung-ho about it as I am! It also doesn't hurt, when Scentsy gives you a box full of free goodies that are not yet available for sale yet!

Contact me if you want to host a party! March brings the new Spring/Summer catalog, new scents and new warmers!

Basketball Practice

Lindsay, my oldest niece, started learning basketball. A few weeks ago, we went to her practice to watch. It's so much fun watching all the little girls run around, get side tracked, twirl their hair, then go back to running around and trying to get the ball.

Lindsay, in the hot pink

This picture makes me laugh everytime!

She looks deep in thought
While Lindsay is practicing/playing, Paige is playing her own games on the side lines.

She had Nick skipping around. Unfortunately I missed that when recording, but it's still cute.

He likes it Ruff

Over the past 2 1/2 years, we've learned to keep it cheap when buying new toys for Brasky. He loves to play so much, he's too rough with some of his toys....or should i say the toys are too wimpy for Brasky.

When Nick and I were at Dave and Buster's for Danielle's birthday, we had enough tickets to bring Patrick Star home for Brasky. Unfortunately, there was a casualty.

Brasky is too cute! I know, "he's just a dog," but he is my/our dog....our baby. How could you ever be upset with such a cute face?!

Even his Oma loves his company! ha ha. Love you mom!!!

Gone are the Days

I don't know why I continue to hope the weathermen are correct when they are predicting tons of snow. I think to myself, "Yes! Bring it! Bring it all!" When it finally arrives, I get the snow day I wanted, a day off from work, only to be up and outside shoveling for hours, then sleeping the rest of the day to relax the over worked muscles.

Whatever happened to the days when school was cancelled, and we got to sleep in and not worry whether or not the roads or driveways were cleared? The days we had no where to go, except to the living room to play the Atari, Nintendo, or Super Nintendo; maybe hit up the yard to go sledding a couple of times, and return to the TV or video games.....when our parents still went to work and we had the house to ourselves?

For some reason, I still have hope that maybe "this time" it will be that way again.

Gone are the days.

Our last snow storm brought lots of heavy snow.

The snow blower decided not to start that day.

Nick, wishing he was done already.

The snow does look beautiful in the morning, when the roads and driveways are untouched. For a second, it's peaceful.
